Description
1980 Yamaha SG 800. These guitars were made in the early eighties for a few years. All original. The hardware is in excellent condition and shows very little sign of rust or corrosion. This one has a Walnut finish on a maple top on Nato body. The neck is Mahogany and has a rosewood fingerboard with beautiful inlays. The neck and frets are in good condition with only slight dents on the 11th and 12th frets. This guitar features two original Yamaha G-11 humbuckers with push / push pot in the tone pots. The body is in good physical condition, but has some scratches on the back and a small ding on the body. The finish is slightly clouded from moisture under the finish. It is only visible from some angles. See photos.
