Description
1983 Made in Japan Ibanez RS Deluxe Series RS 405. It features a Alder and Birch body in Polar White finish with Ibanez “Dead End” strap pins. It has a 21 fret maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The neck is straight and the frets have a lot of life remaining. The RS 405 comes standard with Ibanez Smooth Tuner II and Hard Rocker tremolo unit. The pickups are specially designed Super 6 ceramic single coil pickups and deliver a full and clear sound with excellent top end. There are some dings on the sides of the body and on the top. There are belt buckle scratches on the back of the body and small cracks around the neck joint. ( see photos). The original knobs have been replaced.
This is an excellent vintage MIJ guitar that plays and sounds great!
